Julia cleans out flood-damaged content around her apartment in the aftermath of the Coyote Creek flood on Saturday, February 26, 2017 in San Jose, California. Julia's landlord gave her just a few days to clear out the damage in order to begin renovating the property. During the time of the flood, Julia was at work and therefore unable to save most of their belongings. Her partner, Alberto Gamino and their son, Alfredo were in Mexico visiting family.
